Bio
I have been a publicist for over 15 years and have worked in-house at major publishing houses as well as working as a freelance publicist for the past five years. I have experience working at Scholastic, Hodder Children’s Books, Random House Children’s Books/ David Fickling Books, Orion and Hachette, and was associate PR Director for Barrington Stoke. During my time in-house I have worked with a huge variety of authors as wide ranging as Annabel Pitcher, Leigh Bardugo, Malorie Blackman, Malala Yousafzai, Jenny Downham, Francesca Simon, Marcus Sedgwick, Liz Kessler, Emma Carroll, Jason Reynolds, Lauren St John and Holly Black, and undertook industry wide work, including being one of the publisher co-founders of YALC (YA Lit Con).
I now run my own business, ND PR, which entered its 5th year in 2020. Recent campaigns have included work with Rainbow Rowell, Michael Rosen, Chelsea Clinton, Faber Children’s Books, Little Island Books, Chicken House Books, Games Workshop and the School of Life, and campaigns focus on everything from picture books to teen/ YA, and project-based work.
NDPR clients include publishers such as Penguin Random House, Harper Collins, Barrington Stoke, Hachette Children’s, HQ, Walker, Hot Key, Egmont, and Faber Children’s.
